This year has been difficult.

Mom died on December 3 last year. I used all my back SSI on rent and repairing my mom’s car so I could keep it. I still owe about $1000 on it as well.

Later, my sister basically used me and almost got me dragged to court, which could still happen.

Now, I’m going back to Los Angeles to join my friend for a trip. This man has taken me all over and he’s paying for a nice New Year's trip. I just have to get myself to LA.

Anyway, I was planning to drive because a friend of mine wasn’t able to come see me last time I was there due to a nerve problem that hasn’t been diagnosed yet. Because of that, he’s not driving and if I want to see him, then I have to drive to him.

There’s just one problem. Today, I found out I need 4 new tires for the car, and I should get a fifth because the spare was stolen when they tried to steal the car in January. Between needing to replace my broken glasses and getting the car through a road trip check, I was already looking at a very slim budget. This is more than I can handle without help.
