Dear friends, a couple weeks ago, our friend Tabitha, at our beloved Agua Vivia Ministries mission in Agua Prieta, Mexico was robbed.
Sweet, hard working, dedicated Tabitha who helps keep things running at the mission and serves her neighbors with Christlike love while sacrificing her time, energy and personal career, had her well earned Visa (used for crossing the border when needed for food and supplies), her ID, her voter ID cards, as well as 10,000 pesos stolen from her purse while serving lunch to those who had come to a church service.
The IDs and Visa will cost her over $300USD to replace and the cash she lost is the equivalent of about $560USD. She had this cash on her because she had just been given her monthly gift from the mission for all the work she does and the rest was from selling roses at the border over many days. She does this each day as a job to make ends meet and has to keep her money on her so it does not get stolen from her home.
To her, this loss is massive and replacing everything seems insurmountable.
If we, as brothers and sisters in Christ work together we could remove this burden and dark cloud for her. If you can give even just $5 dollars and click share, with God's help we can bless her with a replacement for all she's lost.
All extra funds raised beyond the goal will be sent directly to Agua Vivia Ministries. They have had a difficult year as well, with the rising cost of beans and rice and all other groceries used to feed the church members and neighbors as well as the border having been closed for some time in 2020.
