Help replace stolen laptop and bag

On February 20th my bag was stolen at the venue Monarch in Berlin. In my bag were two laptops, about 100 copies of Schmutz, books, chargers, etc.

Everything in the bag is replaceable, it's just stuff. That being said, my personal computer contained university work and journalism that I will never see again.

Schmutz, the live music resource I founded two years ago this month, relies heavily on my having ready access to a computer.

The bag itself is probably the most sentimentally valuable thing that was stolen. A gift from my dad, the bag has travelled with me around the world for years. It's the gigantic black Mission Workshop bag that you all have known me to carry around everywhere.

The real bummer about this theft is that the show was presented by Schmutz, sold out, and was being played by Jealous, the band I just went on tour with. This means that the theif had to have paid for a ticket to see the show, possibly hearing about it from Schmutz, coming into a community, saw an opportunity, and destroyed a safe space. A safe space that is already under threat without people destroying it from the inside. It's actually heartbreaking.

Nobody has spare cash these days but if you could could part with even 5 bucks, that would be an enormous help. If you truly aren't able to help out monetarily, a share on social media would be amazing.

Thank you and hopefully chat with you soon.
