Last week, my dear friend and bandmate suffered a devastating blow: her vehicle window was smashed, and thieves stole instruments and essential audio equipment. These weren’t just tools — they were part of her voice, livelihood, and ways of sharing joy with others.

As a folk musician on Vancouver Island, she has devoted herself to bringing traditional Irish, Scottish, English, and original music to communities — often traveling to remote areas and playing for little pay, simply for the love of music. She pours her heart into every performance, lifting spirits and keeping traditions alive.

She’s the kind of person who would never ask for help herself — humble, kind, and generous. That’s why I’m asking on her behalf.

We’re raising funds to replace the instruments and gear that were taken, so she can get back to doing what she does best: making music that connects and inspires.
