A PLACE OF LOVE, LEARNING — AND NOW, LOSS

Cherubs Children’s Home in Kumasi, Ghana, is a safe haven for over 60 children, from infancy to age 18. This orphanage, run entirely through donations, provides shelter, education, and love to some of the most vulnerable children in the region.

Recently, their community was devastated by a break-in. All of the orphanage’s computers — tools the children rely on for school, communication, and personal development — were stolen.

We’re coming together to help them rebuild what was lost.

OUR GOAL

We are raising $15,000 to purchase 18 fully set-up computers for the orphanage. Each complete setup has been priced at approximately $830.

The orphanage has requested a total of 30 computers to fully meet the needs of all the children. We’ve set an initial goal to provide 18 computers, but if we exceed our target, every additional dollar will go toward purchasing more computers—up to the full 30.

HOW FUNDS WILL BE MANAGED

All donations will be collected through Where Love Abounds, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Goldsboro, NC, which is partnering with Cherubs Children’s Home to ensure transparency and accountability.

Where Love Abounds will:

• Collect all funds securely

• Oversee the purchase and delivery of the computers

• Provide regular updates on progress, photos, and receipts

• Ensure every dollar goes directly to this project

TIMELINE

This is intended to be a short-term fundraiser, and our goal is to reach the target within the next few weeks. We recognize that it is a huge number, but we have recently been reminded to pray big because with God anything is possible! So, while GoFundMe may offer the option to donate monthly, we are hoping for one-time donations to meet this specific need.
