Hi y’all - my name is Ru - I run a sewing company called Sundry Sew Co & I recently relocated to Pasadena, CA with my puppy, Wilco in pursuit of my career. On May 12 my car was stolen, within it the two heaviest parts of my industrial sewing machines. Being over 300lb, I wasn’t able to unload them without help. The day I found people to help, my car and machines were stolen.
Costing over $2500, the machines are very expensive, and the most prized possessions I have. I run my entire business with them, and I’ve worked incredibly hard for them. The sewing machines and my car were all purchased on my own, and again - it’s a devastating loss.
Ultimately, the loss comes out to value about $12,000.
Insurance can only help a little - and the deductible alone is $2,750. Believing in my move I sold everything & spent my savings getting here. I have no idea how else to say, I’m in a lot of need for help. It would mean the world if you or someone you know would donate.
