Help replace some of the items lost in a fire

Hi there, my name is Michelle and I’m fundraising for my beautiful friend Bec who is currently in Concord Burns Unit recovering from terrible injuries she sustained in a fire. Thankfully she is okay but will have a long journey ahead of her.

 

Bec is the kind of friend who will be there for you at the drop of a hat and would never ask for help even when she needs it! Bec’s son had worked hard to pay off a $700 E-Bike and finally brought it home just before the fire. The bike was one of a number of things that was lost in the fire.

 

I’m doing this fundraiser not because they won’t eventually replace it, because she will do whatever she can to provide for her kids, I’m doing it because I feel helpless that I can’t do more to help my friend right now.

 

While she goes through multiple surgeries and all the painful procedures she’s also stuck eating crap hospital food, she can’t get food deliveries, flowers or fruit baskets etc due to COVID. As such lots of her friends have lost money because they are sending items that Bec isn’t getting.  Many people have asked how they can help and the truth is, we can’t do anything right now but send our love and best wishes and perhaps donate to her here. 

 

I set this up for people like me, Who would’ve sent a basket or flowers and can’t! 

 

If we can at least replace the bike for Jai, it will be one less thing she has to organise when she’s home.

We know this must be so hard Jai and this is also to show you how much you are loved!
