Help Replace Samara's Stolen Car
Donation protected
Hello everyone, recently I shared on social media the heartbreaking news of my car being stolen from outside my home in Grafton NSW last night. It feels extremely hard for me to ask for help when in need, but some beautiful people have suggested I start a gofundme to help recover the cost for a replacement car.

We were woken by police at 3am to find out my car had been stolen from our home in Fitzroy St Grafton NSW last night.
My stolen car was then involved in crime incidents including an assault and stabbing. Police then had a pursuit with the car around 1am, until the driver had some type of collision and so police had to unfortunately call off the pursuit.
The thieves escaped and the car was later found completely burnt out and was extinguished by our local fire fighters at Mick Fahey’s Auto Electrical carpark in South Grafton (behind Clarence Coast Subaru).
This was my first new car purchase, which I worked extremely hard for while raising my two daughters as a young mum, and after 5 years I've just finished paying it off this month. Our car has served us so well for the past 5 years giving our family reliability, independence and freedom, which these low lives have now taken from us while endangering our community and themselves.
Adding pain to an already stressful situation, I've been left absolutely devastated that my car insurance had expired and while I had been meaning to renew it, it's just one of those things you kick yourself about after it's too late. (I learned a costly lesson and hope this can be a reminder just how important it is to check/get your insurance sorted and not put it off for another day.)
As a small retail business owner in our local community, dealing with covid and the recent severe weather and floods, it has already been a tough year and now we have lost our family car with no means to replace it and have been left responsible for removing of the shell of my car where it was left by thieves.
My car was a White Ford Ecosport 2016 which I paid $25k for through finance, and would have a current market value of $12-$14k, which is a huge, devastating loss.
Any funds raised will go towards replacing our stolen car with a reliable vehicle to give us back the independence and freedom our precious little ecosport gave us before it was stolen.
We truly appreciate any contribution no matter how small. And would like to thank you in advance to anyone stopping by to support us when in need, it means so much and our family is so grateful.
Sincerely,
Samara and family.
