Help Replace Roof and Repair Home for Retired Dad

My father lives in Deland, FL in a house that he bought with his own money. He bought the house to live in with his wife, my stepmother. When they bought the house, they put it in my step-grandmothers name because they didn’t have the credit. My step grandmother passed away suddenly, unfortunately, in 2015, and there was no way for them to change the house to being in my dad’s name. They had a lawyer working on it for them but they couldn’t afford the lawyer. My father still pays the mortgage every month with his own money and takes care of the home. My stepmother passed away this last Friday, August 23rd, after 25 years of marriage to my father. He is now having to try and come up with money to cremate her and figure his whole life out and he is very overwhelmed.

Over the years, the roof of the home has progressively come into worse and worse disrepair. When my father tried to put in a claim, their homeowners insurance dropped them and he has not been able to secure homeowners insurance since. He has been trying to fix the roof himself but he’s getting older and he can’t get up there and do that stuff. He just puts tarps everywhere. See all the pictures. Every single room in his home has leaks in the ceiling. The whole roof needs to be replaced and the interior damage repaired.

My dad is no longer working, he is retired and living off of a small income. If you can help in any way, I’d be eternally grateful and so would my dad.
