We’re reaching out to our wonderful community to support someone very special to Isabel Hospice – Ron Coulter, a much-loved and dedicated volunteer who gives his time selflessly to support our cause.
At 74 years old, Ron is still going strong – cycling from Stanstead Abbotts to Welwyn Garden City twice a week to volunteer at our Bridge Road East head office, where he carries out crucial PAT testing of electrical items, enabling us to sell them safely on our eBay store and raise vital funds for Isabel Hospice.
In addition to this, Ron also volunteers at both our Waltham Cross and Hoddesdon shops, and is a regular helping hand at our Donation Days, always showing up with a smile and a tireless work ethic. He is truly one of the unsung heroes behind the scenes.
Sadly, on Thursday 4th September, while volunteering at the head office, Ron's bike (which was locked) was stolen from our parking area – his only means of transport and an essential part of his daily life. This was a huge shock to all of us, and especially heartbreaking considering how much time and energy Ron puts into helping others.
We’re now asking for your help to raise £2,000 to help replace his bike.
Ron never asks for anything – but he gives so much. Let’s come together and show him just how valued and appreciated he is.
Every donation, big or small, will make a difference.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
