On July 28, around 3 o’clock in the afternoon I was run off of the road by a drunk driver in a white truck on the back road of old Forbestown Road. He was driving straight towards me and was not rerouting which caused me to be run off the side and into a tree, crushing the driver side of my car and fracturing the top of my femur, my elbow and my nose. Unfortunately, this is our only vehicle that had four-wheel-drive which we need for the winter season and snow that is approaching. And I will be needing surgery on my elbow. My recovery time is going to be about two months however, in that timeframe, we most urgently need to replace our vehicle
Also, it was a hit-and-run. The driver did not stop to check on me and I had to contact emergency services myself while being injured and stuck inside of my vehicle.
