Help Replace My Stolen Ricoh GRIII Camera

A few kind people on Reddit suggested I set up this fundraiser to try and replace what was lost. If you’re able to help, I would be deeply grateful. Thank you for reading and for any support you can offer.

Here was the original post:

For the person who stole my Ricoh GRIII at Ford Field… You don’t know this, but I’m a stay at home mom. This camera was the largest purchase I have ever made for myself for my birthday, and it’s not even paid off yet. I have been struggling for the past few years and this camera allowed me to get out of my mind (and my house) and see the world in a way that I remembered it as a child. I will never get another one, as I don’t trust myself to take care of it for the cost.

I hope, at the very least, that you’re making good use of it. That you, too, see the colors like when we were kids. If you try to sell it someday, the serial is pinged to alert the Detroit Police. I know what you look like, and the cameras showed you watching me search while bawling my eyes out and having people yell at me to get out of the way. I am not mad, but I feel my source of happiness in this time was taken and all I ask is that you make the most out of it. This is not just a camera. It is something far beyond that is not comparable to any high end camera I’ve ever had the liberty of looking through the lens of in the past.
