Help Replace My Prius Battery
Donation protected
I'm reaching out because my 2010 Prius, which I've had for three years, just stopped running properly as the hybrid battery died today. I rely on this car to get around for work, errands, and basic daily needs, and I currently live in a rural part of Indiana. I'm currently stuck at a friend's in Michigan and can't get back.
This is terribly embarrassing for me, but I have very little in my bank account right now because I have no summer work, and unfortunately, a lack of family support to help me. The estimated cost of a new hybrid battery is around $3,000 to $4,000, which is way beyond what I can afford on my own.
If needed, the money raised will go towards getting a new hybrid battery or, if that's not possible, towards purchasing another reliable car so I can keep moving forward.
Any amount you can contribute would be incredibly helpful and mean so much to me. Thank you for your kindness and support during this tough time.
