I’ve had my iPad for 6 years and didn’t expect it to break this week but here we are. I should have expected it's demise to be near because I was running out of procreate space (I’ve made over thousands of procreate files for my media pages), but this level damage was certainly less expected.

The screen is so comically cracked to a way that I find both hilarious and (for some reason) an omen to keep using it because technically... it still works? Also, from the pictures here, you can see the glass protector DID NOT break. There is this funny effect on my broken ipad where the glass protector is smooth and underneath is a huge collection of millions of tiny glass fragments moving around on a seemingly functional (?) and bright iPad screen).

My friends have suggested that (due to several people in the community offering already) it wasn’t too much to ask for support to get myself a new iPad.

This will help me continue to draw more on a more comfortable screen! No more Glass pieces! And it keeps me away from crayons on a sketchbook (this saves paper!). Even if we don’t reach goal, I am so grateful for anyone’s support for this cause so please don’t feel bad if you can’t help. Even being a person who has reacted to my art in any way is enough for me! ❤️
