Help replace Kyle's stolen tools
Donation protected
Hi there! My name is Olivia, and I'm so disappointed to be asking for help to rebuild the tool collection of my sweet partner, Kyle Broadfoot. Unfortunately, over $2,000 worth of his personal tools were stolen from the school where he teaches on Monday as he worked on the greenhouse pictured here.
If you know Kyle, you know he is an incredibly hard worker. He puts everything he has (literally, in this case) into any project he sets his mind to in his roles as a teacher, farmer, or friend. If you know him, you'll also know that his power tool collection is something he holds dear. He uses his equipment daily-- for friends, strangers, and, in this case, his school.
Kyle is incredibly passionate about his students, the environment, and urban farming. He has been so excited to teach his students about each of these and empower them, too. To accomplish this, he took it upon himself to start the first student-run farm at his school and in doing so, he has literally been building this greenhouse (mostly by himself) from the ground up. He's spent countless hours, his personal tools, and his own money to ensure that the kids have a functional, safe space to learn this trade. When he learned on Monday that all of his tools were stolen, he was devastated, as this also means a pretty significant delay in the greenhouse construction.
Kyle is truly the most selfless man I've ever met and has the biggest heart. He regularly drops everything to help others and uses these tools to serve anyone who needs him. Unfortunately, we can't cover these costs out of pocket ourselves. We also completely understand that times are tough. If you're unable to contribute, words of encouragement and a quick share of this link would be so helpful, and we would greatly appreciate it. If you're able, we would be so greatly appreciative of any contributions as we work to rebuild his collection and continue the maintenance of this school project. Any and all funds raised will be used to replace his tools and contribute to his kids' greenhouse.
