Help replace Juice's stolen gear!

Hi all,

We're Juice, a band from Brooklyn, NY who met at school together in Boston. We've been touring together since 2018, and we've had the privilege of being welcomed into communities all over the USA and Canada to perform.

We're currently in the middle of the biggest headline tour that we've played in our careers, but the unfortunate reality of what we do is that touring is expensive, and most of the money that we make on the road goes right back into making sure that the shows can happen at all.

Last night, while we were sleeping at a hotel in Seattle after a really wonderful show, someone cut the locks on the trailer where much of our gear was stored, and they stole over $12,000 worth of our gear. Our drums, amps, pedalboards, keyboard, and stage lights were all taken. All of the appropriate police reports have been filed, and we are checking pawn shops and music stores in the area, but as many musicians know, the likelihood of finding this stuff at all is slim.

Most of the gear isn't insured, and in order to replace it, we'll need to pay out of pocket. The only way for us to afford to replace the gear is by finishing the tour, and the only way we can finish the tour is by borrowing or renting more gear. Our next show is Wednesday, in San Francisco. We're confident that we'll be able to put on a show in spite of what's happened, but our financial position is bleak.

The last thing we ever want to do is ask for charity. We got into music understanding that money would be tight sometimes, often even, but something like this puts our entire existence as a band in jeopardy. It's exhausting and demoralizing and heartbreaking, but we're so incredibly thankful to our fans and friends for getting us this far. It's with all that in mind that we humbly and with heavy hearts ask for all of your help to get us through the rest of this tour, and to replace what was lost.
