I am Kim Gentry, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my friend Ian McGee, who lives in Edgewater, Maryland, to help replace the money he lost in an online scam. Ian and his mother, Debbie Graham, gave their permission for me to share this information and create this fundraiser.

In March 2025 an online scammer took advantage of Ian’s trusting nature and scammed him out of $4750 from his savings account by making him believe that he had to pay fees for a photography job they wanted to hire him to do. Unfortunately due to the payment method used, law enforcement is unable to track down or recover Ian’s money.

I can’t replace all of Ian’s money, but I know there are many people who love and care about him that would be happy to bless him and help bring something good from this terrible experience.
