As many of you are aware, last week someone cut the lock and stole the bike of doorman, German Mendez, from in front of the building and in broad daylight. Unfortunately, German uses the bike to travel to and from our building and is now left without reliable transportation.

A police report was filed, but the odds of getting his bike back are remote. German has been with us at 181 East 73rd street for 8 years.

We are reaching out to our generous community here in the building for support to help replace his stolen e-bike. Any amount you can give will make a significant difference and is greatly appreciated.
