Please help.
Update 07-19-2024
Talked to the police department and I was informed that it will be at least 6 weeks before they can assign someone to Phoenix’s case.
Even with his bicycle having an Apple Air Tag and can see its location and explaining that he is autistic and it’s his only way of transportation.
At the point in time I do not see Phoenix recovering his bicycle back anytime soon or even ever.
The city he lives in does not have a bus service so he cannot just go to the bus stop to get from point A to point B. He now has to walk everywhere or use Uber.
Since getting his own apartment I pay for Phoenix to Uber when it is raining or a chance of rain and in the winter when the roads are icy or if the temperature drops below freezing to help keep him safe and healthy. I do not know if he will ever feel comfortable driving a car or if he will even be able to drive a car and I do not mind paying for him to Uber during these conditions because I know I would not want to be riding a bicycle in that kind of weather so why should he. It’s not his fault it is just how he was born and is living his life the best he possibly can.
Now his grandpa and I are paying for him to Uber to get to work so he can keep paying his bills and it is going to be expensive.
It cost almost $8 one way to get to his first job and he can walk home from that job weather permitting but his second job it cost almost $34 to go and come home. It’s too far for him to walk.
If I lived in the same city I would be taking him to and from work and other places until he could get another electric bicycle.

I need your help…
Yesterday, my grandson had his bike stolen while he was working his night shift at Walmart. This was his only transportation to and from work.
He is working two jobs just to pay for his apartment and living expenses.
His grandpa and I got him the bike because we found out he was walking to and from work.
After learning how to ride the bike, we added a battery to make it easier for him.
We added a trunk for his helmet and a little storage, it had headlights, turn signals, hazard lights, and taillights for his safety.
His bike was just barely a year old and the battery motor was just added in January.
Our grandson is autistic and loves working and now he has to deal with the stress of how he is going to get to and from work. I am hoping to raise this money to be able to get him another battery-powered bicycle and take this added stress off his shoulders.
He didn’t deserve this. The thief had to cut the cable lock off his bike to steal it.
Please help get his life back on track.
