I’m currently a student at Buffalo State University. After an incident that occurred at my school, a lot of my things were damaged—especially the electronics I use for my classes. Mentally, it’s been a lot to deal with. You never expect something like this to happen to you, until it does. There’s a lot of negativity tied to what happened, and I’ve been trying to push through it the best I can.

I’m a dedicated student, and I genuinely care about making a difference in this world. Even with everything that’s happened, I’ve managed to keep my GPA up, and I’m not planning to let that change. I’m just trying to get back on my feet and keep moving forward.
