Happy holidays! As some of you may know, I was in a tragic accident Wednesday, December 17th, that ended with our car engulfed in flames.

While on my way home from getting gifts for my children, the control arm went out and began to spark flames. When I attempted to stop the car, the brakes failed, and I had to use the emergency brake. Swerving into incoming traffic, I had to act quickly and jump from the car, which went up in flames within seconds. I was able to make it to the side of the highway without being hit by traffic driving past and waited for firefighters and state patrol to show up.

While I am blessed and very grateful to be alive and have made it back home to my family, we have taken a big loss right before the holiday. My children's gifts, as well as personal belongings like car seats, strollers, and a tablet, were all burned in our vehicle. In addition to that, we had to pay a $500+ fee to have the car removed from the highway and junked as it was completely totaled. With the loss of our car, my ability to work is currently affected at the moment.

I am reaching out to the community asking for help to replace my children's Christmas gifts and funds that this accident has taken. I know the holidays can be a difficult time for a lot of people, so any and every donation is greatly appreciated, even if it's just a prayer for our family!
