Help Replace Buffalo Brewing's Vital Equipment

My name is John Domres Jr. and I am the owner and brewer at Buffalo Brewing Company, a family-owned and operated brewery specializing in lager. We brew historic brands like Simon Pure, Manru Lager, and Bellweiser. Our production brewery is located in the historic Schreiber Brewery in the heart of Buffalo's Polonia District.

On the evening of 7/10, our glycol chiller was vandalized for its aluminum evaporator, rendering the unit useless for our operation. Since the vandalism, we can no longer produce product. The glycol jacketed, insulated tanks that contain the beer in process have now lost the ability to regulate temperature, essential to the brewing process. With the chiller destroyed during the height of the summer season, the busiest part of our year and of course the warmest, we are now hoping for a miracle!

Our insurance policy covers mainly our retail operation, including both properties; however, we struggled to get coverage for our Fillmore operation as portions of the building that are intended to be renovated are in bad shape. I took a chance because I wanted to brew in a historic brewery. I knew all along that this would be an uphill battle but never thought we'd suffer a set back of this magnitude.
