Not the Birthday Post I Thought I’d Be Making…

Hey everyone — I honestly didn’t expect to be writing something like this, but here we are. Earlier today, I was in a car accident. Thankfully, I’m okay, but my car… not so much. It was an old beater with a ton of miles, and it didn’t survive. I had to sell it to a junkyard just to get anything for it.

Now I’m without a car, and with my second job at Outback being a bit of a commute, I’ll be relying on Ubers for the next few months while I try to save for something better.

With my birthday coming up in July, I’m doing something I’ve never done before — asking for help. Instead of gifts this year, I’m hoping friends and family might consider helping me toward a more reliable car. I’ve always had really old vehicles that barely made it month to month, and I’m hoping this time I can get something dependable enough to build on.
