My name is Kimberley & I have set this donation page up for my lovely friend Gemma in regards to her son.

This Christmas, a 13 year old boy had a gift he had been dreaming of all year - a brand new bike. It was more than just a present but a sense of freedom, adventure & joy.

Tragically, just days after receiving it, the bike was stolen from the young boy at knifepoint in Henllys, Cwmbran, on the 30th December 2024 at 5:00pm whilst riding home from being out with friends.

As family and friends our hearts broke knowing that this young boy, who would be the first to help and support anyone he could in need, was put through such a terrifying experience, especially during what should of been a joyful holiday season.

No one let alone a child, should ever endure something like this.

We are all devastated, but determined not to let this setback dim his holiday spirit for years to come. So we are reaching out to our community for help to replace this stolen gift and bring back the smile that lit up a 13 year old boys face on Christmas morning.

The funds will go toward replacing the stolen bike with added security, but best of all to show the young boy he is supported & cared for by his family, friends and community.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will help this heartbreaking situation into a story of resilience, kindness and love. Let’s show this young boy that for every act of cruelty, there’s an even greater act of compassion.
