Hi, my name is Jatinder Dahri and I am fundraising for Funeral & final rites of NAVNEET SINGH.
It is with great sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Navneet Singh, a resident of Brampton, Ontario, who drowned in the waters near the Elora Bridge at Grand River on 24th August at 6:30 PM. Despite swift rescue efforts, his body was recovered approximately an hour later. The incident is currently under investigation by local authorities (Police File #: E251148595). NAVNEET was just 29 years old and had came to Canada only 2 years ago.
Navneet was a devoted son, a loving brother, and a bright, kind-hearted individual who touched the lives of everyone he met. He was full of energy, deeply spiritual, and always ready to help others. Having lost his father years ago, Navneet was the sole provider for his small family, which includes his mother and elder sister who still live in Jalandhar, Punjab.
His untimely passing has left his family devastated — emotionally and financially. With no other source of income, they now face the overwhelming burden of funeral costs and are unable to cover the expenses required to send Navneet’s body back to India, where his mother and sister can say their final goodbye and perform the last rites according to their religious traditions.
The funeral home has quoted a cost of $12,500 CAD to handle the international transportation to India. We are humbly asking for your help to support Navneet’s family during this unimaginable time.
