Be A Blessing to Believers in the Philippines

Aloha and kumusta po to my family and friends in Hawaii, the U.S. Mainland and in the Philippines. As many of you may know, I now spend a good portion of the year in the Philippines with my wife, Dhorie. We enjoy life together in the city of Cainta, which is not far from Metro Manila.

The Lord has laid it on my heart to seek a blessing for Peacemakers Christian Family Church (PCFC) where Dhorie and I usually attend. Like so many churches in the Philippines, the people here are very welcoming and sincere in their faith, though they may not have very much. (The minimum wage in Metro Manila is now 695 Philippine pesos a day [or $12.12] following a P50 a day increase on July 18, 2025.) Still, I have found that Filipinos love their churches and give willingly and gladly as they are able. But it can be very, very challenging for many Filipino churches to raise the funds necessary for any significant church building projects.

Hence, this GoFundMe project. PCFC has set a goal to raise P520,000 ($9,066) to make much needed repairs to the church - a new roof, repairs to the men's and women's bathrooms, and much needed upgrades to their sound system and sound booth. (Can you imagine what all of that would cost in the U.S.?)

So, as the LORD leads, would you consider helping at least one church here in the Philippines with a $20 (P1,147) or $50 (P2,869) or $100 (P5,736) gift? It can make such a huge difference for them! As the Lord has blessed and prospered you, thank you for giving whatever you can to bless and help meet the practical needs of your brothers & sisters here in the Philippines.
