Help Repair Our Veterans' Safe Haven

We are the American Legion Post 511 - a Nonprofit Veterans organization whose mission is to enhance the well-being of America's veterans, their families, our military, and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness. The American's Legion vision statement is "The American Legion: Veterans Strengthening America."

Our Post is in dyer need of repairs, our building is old (built in 1959) and sits on pier beams; with old small Septic Tank for our sewage usage. At this time, we are in need of donations to get our Septic Tank replaced with a larger one or get connected to the Dallas County sewage system (which both are extremely expenses).

Our Post Parking Lot needs to be repaved; the gravel, rocks and holes in the ground, makes it hard for our senior veterans to walk on (without falling and/or tripping).

We would like to provide a nice, clean, safe environment for our veterans, family members and the community to visit and fellowship with one another.
