Help Repair our Home& Garden after Cyclone Jasper

Hello everyone, and thank you for being here and caring to hear our story and help us recover our home and garden and keep our dreams going! My name is Claudia, and, together with my partner, 3 kids, and one on the way, live self-sufficient in the Daintree Rainforest, which was directly hit by cyclone Jasper 5 days ago that feel like an Eternity. During the 5 days, we have experienced wild winds, wild amounts of rain, and the worst, incredible landslides that have reshaped our entire garden, wiped off trees and destroyed our orchard and put our whole home structure at risk because of the landslide and edges of riverbank collapsing.

We have also lost many things in our home (furniture, clothes, books, homewards, electronics) to mould, and water damage due to intense humidity and heavy rainfalls. This is a record flood in 120 years, and I can not describe the amount of the water.

We will have to reinforce the newly formed river banks, home repairs, and reinforcement and replanting the trees that can still be saved. Our garden was one of the main sources of fresh fruits (bananas, pineapples, pumpkins, and other tropical plants). All help would go towards cleaning, rebuilding, replanting, and stabilising the riverbanks, which is now dangerously close to the house-5metres away, also part of your support will be used for getting food supplies by boat as the roads suffered major landslides and the Daintree community is stuck in here for undefine time.

Our little bungalow that we have built ourselves out of all our savings, time, energy and love it is now dangerously close to the new landslide river banks and we need to reinforce with rocks. For this to happen we need a couple of trucks of rocks delivered, excavator, metal mesh and manpower. The toilet is non functional any longer as it is leaning towards the hole and will have to rebuild from scratch.
