I've had my upright bass for just a year, but in that short time, it's become a huge part of my life. From countless gigs and practice sessions to late-night jams with friends, this instrument has been with me through a lot. It took a lot of effort and sacrifice to finally get my hands on it, so it means more to me than just being a musical tool—it's a part of my journey as a musician.

Recently, my bass slipped from the trunk of my car and hit the curb, snapping the neck clean off. The damage is serious, and it needs to be taken to A440 for professional repair. Not having my bass has put everything on hold—practicing, performing, and connecting with others through music. The cost of the repair is a major setback for me, and it's tough to see something so important sidelined because of an accident.

Update: Ive talked to some luthiers and asked around and unfortunately the procedure to get it fixed would involve a neck reset and some cosmetic damage repair. Im sorry to even raise the amount but anything would help. Thank so much to those who’ve shown me support already, it means so much.
