A elderly woman tried to make a U-turn into the 3 lane where I was driving. To avoid hitting her I swerved around her and hit a curb. Although I truly believed I saved this woman’s life whom had a pacemaker and was extremely distraught about the situation, due to Florida Laws because I didn’t collide with her I’m responsible for the damages she caused. I don’t have any of her information as I’m still waiting for the body cam footage, I gave her my information and she ended up sending 100$, as I am grateful it simply doesn’t cover the damages she caused. So I’m asking for help. I love my car she’s the first one I’ve had and I don’t want to loose her because of someone else’s mistake. I appreciate any donations or advice to get her fixed. Thank you
