Hazel Park Congregational United Church of Christ ("HPCUCC") was established 135 years ago on Saint Paul’s East Side.
We believe that we are not just in the neighborhood but we are part of it. The core values of HPCUCC are: open and affirming, welcoming and inclusive, generous, and supportive. Our vision is to become a community hub that houses multiple programs supporting children, youth, and seniors.
We are doing this through forming partnerships with other organizations that share our values and creating a community hub where our partners have the physical space to accomplish their missions.
We have partnered with North East Seniors for Better Living, which provides professional and volunteer services to help seniors remain in their own homes for as long as possible, and stay safe, healthy, and independent while staying socially involved in their community. They serve the North East neighborhoods of Saint Paul, North Saint Paul, and Maplewood.
We are also home to three worshipping communities: Family of Christ International Church , Prince of Peace Evangelical Church, and Hazel Park Congregational UCC .
We are located on the eastern edge of an ACP (Area of Concentrated Poverty) where 50% or more of the residents are identified as people of color.
We are fundraising to repair our roof.
