Hi everyone! I want you to meet Apollo, the beloved black stallion. He is a sweet, kind boy and is loved by all that pass by to feed him a carrot or an apple. And he needs your help. His owner has struggled to provide for him.

As you can see from the video, his current living situations are not adequate, and he does not have a dry, clean place to find shelter. Apollo’s neighborhood friends continue to look out for him and try to do their best to provide him with food and shelter. My husband and I have volunteered our own time and effort to help out the owner with some maintenance. We have cleaned out his barn and dug trenches to dry his pasture, but there is plenty more work to be done to provide adequate living conditions for Apollo. We need to provide Apollo with some dry shelter, but doing so is costly and we cannot afford this on our own. With the help of the community and your support, we are trying to raise money to put a roof on the barn where he stays. We also need to shore up his pasture with some better fencing to help him access some green grazing area. Once we have met our fundraising goal, we will be doing all of the necessary labor. Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and would bring us one step closer in providing Apollo with a safe, comfortable shelter that he deserves.
