Hurricane Helene has caused major devastation for many people including my best friend Suzanne Darnell Dauner in New Port Richey FL. After quickly evacuating out herself, two cats, and dog she got home to a flooded disaster several feet high and still no power. She will have to replace her walls, subfloors, wood floors, appliances (refrigerator, stove, washer/dryer, possibly the AC unit, etc.). She also lost most of her furniture including her sectional couch and recliner. As if the devastation wasn’t enough, she has to find a way to repair and replace these items to make her home livable again without the help of insurance.
We feel so helpless being this far away from her and want to help her any way we can as she’s ALWAYS the first person to help someone else in need. So please consider donating whatever you can towards making her safe haven safe and livable again.
