Montgomery Street Cafe has been a cornerstone of Fort Worth dining since 1949, and for over 30 years, my mother has poured her heart into keeping its doors open. This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a gathering place where regulars are greeted by name, and newcomers are welcomed with a smile. The walls are adorned with a beautiful mural of Fort Worth landmarks, a reminder of the cafe’s deep roots in our community.

Every morning, the ladies at the cafe set out coffee cups in the favorite spots of our regulars, making everyone feel right at home. It’s these small traditions and the sense of belonging that make Montgomery Street Cafe so special. Unfortunately, the cafe is currently closed due to needed repairs, including a new HVAC system, to ensure everyone can continue to enjoy their meals in comfort.
