Small businesses are the heart of our community, but lately, that heart has been under a lot of pressure.
As many of you know, LD Pho has had to temporarily close its doors. While Liu has worked tirelessly to keep things running, the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic—coupled with rising costs and back-dated SBA loans—have created a mountain that is simply too high to climb alone.
Currently, Liu is working hand-in-hand with an accountant to resolve tax and loan obligations and is aiming to have the doors back open in just 2 to 3 weeks. However, the financial gap to get that "Expired" sign off the door and the kitchen fired back up is significant.
We are looking to raise $50,000 to help cover:
• Outstanding State/Tax Obligations: To legally reinstate the business license.
• SBA Loan Relief: To manage the debt incurred during the height of the pandemic.
• Reopening Costs: To ensure staff can be paid and supplies can be ordered for the first week back.
Liu isn’t just a business owner; they are a neighbor who has always been there for us with a warm meal and a smile. Now, it’s our turn to be there for them.
Every dollar counts. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page with your friends and family. Let’s make sure LD Pho stays a part of our neighborhood for years to come.
Thank you for your love and support!
