Help Re-Open Hyperion Public!!

Hi everyone,
Hyperion Public needs your help!
As you know these are some strange times we're living in right now. We can't seem to count on the City, the State or the Federal Government for help. It seems PPP loans were given to publicly traded business' and other big business' leaving little to nothing for us small, local business'. Right now, we all need each other to work together and have to count on each other to get by.

Hyperion Public has always been there for the city, for the teachers and for the community, the little leagues and the AYSO. We'd like to stay this way and keep providing everyone with good foods and drinks and continue to be the neighborhoods go-to place for "What's going on?" in this crazy world around us.
Before Covid-19:

After Covid - 19:

We came up with a plan...
In order to beat Covid and save our Pub, we felt a huge remodeling effort was needed so that we would never have this problem again.
Please allow me to briefly share our story that leads up to this gofundme post.
My name is John Speaks. My friends call me "Speaks". I am one of the owners of Hyperion Public.

As you know, Covid-19 has really done a number on the entire Food and Beverage industry and has truly wreaked havoc on local bars and pubs like Hyperion Public in Silver Lake, CA.
1. They said take out and delivery only.
Thankfully, because we served food, we are allowed to stay open for take out and delivery only....The only problem was that our kitchen was way too small. Cooks and employees did not have adequate space to be properly distanced.
2. They said, close the bar... no one can come inside anymore.
*** They didn't say we couldn't turn our front window... into "THE BAR"!!!
We created a huge concession style/ window/ bar, where you'll be able to place orders for pick up or you can stroll by and grab a bite and a drink along the way... (Hell, you can place your order and have a drink in our outside area while you wait... ) As well, we are making a Deli style restaurant in the front!
Of course, all will be properly distanced and super clean. Social distances, masks, no-touch ordering (do it from your phone), no touch payment transactions will be the norm.
Here's where we are stuck...
Currently, we've managed to get almost everything done. Due to, Covid, and other unseen delays, we find ourselves about $30,000.00 short of being able to, basically, finish. By Basically, I mean, to be able to open.

What's left to do?
Well, we have all our equipment standing by ready to be installed...

We need to:
- Hook up gas lines to the kitchen equipment.
- Add a 2 floor sinks for refrigeration.
- Patch and stucco exterior around concession window .

- Drywall and add lights above concession window.
- Pay rent.
- Restock and open.
WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW!
We've exhausted all financial means available to us. This money would allow us to not only get back on our feet, but it would help us stay there. And, we in return, will continue to help the community around us get back on its feet too.
We've been in this location since 2012 and we want to stay here. This location was and is meant to be the flagship location from which we hope to model future locations. To say we've sunk our lives into this Hyperion Public, is an understatement. Hyperion Public, IS our life.
We know that we will not be able to simply return money to those who we hope will support us, so what we will do is "Pay it Forward". Once we are back on our feet, we will begin to pay forward EVERY CENT that shared with us to others in need. All we will ask of them, is that they pay it forward as well.
For anyone wishing to make a more substantial financial contribution or another kind of agreement, please contact me.
Where there is a will, there is a way...
