I’m asking my community for help with a heavy but hopeful heart. Over the past year, I’ve been doing everything I can to reopen my food truck, Dreamy Caribbean Flavor. After my generator was stolen, I kept pushing forward, trying to rebuild piece by piece. But life hasn’t made it easy… I recently lost someone very close to me to cancer, and not long after, I was in a car accident. By God’s grace, I’m still here—but it’s been one challenge after another.
Now, on top of everything, there are new Oklahoma food truck regulations that I must meet before I can reopen. These include fire safety inspections, updated permits, and required equipment upgrades just to operate legally. To get back up and running, I need to replace my generator, install a fire suppression system, pay for fire marshal inspections and permits, and buy basic supplies to reopen. This business is how I provide for my kids. It’s my passion, my purpose, and my way of serving my community with the flavors I love. Dreamy Caribbean Flavor is the only Haitian and Jamaican food truck in Oklahoma, and I want to bring it back for everyone to enjoy.
I’ve always tried to handle everything on my own, but right now, I truly need help. If you can donate, share, or keep me in your prayers, it means everything to me. Even a simple share could help me get one step closer to reopening. I truly believe this isn’t the end of my story. Thank you for standing with me.
