Help Renovate Yalon Town Public School

Today, we are raising money for the reconstruction of the Yalon Public School. This school is located in the Republic of Liberia and was recently damaged by a storm. Even before the storm, the school was dilapidated and students had to sit on the floor for classes. Through the Moijama Educational Foundation, we donated benches, blackboards, and an office desk to make sure the students have a comfortable learning environment. The kids from that school deserve our support and it is our responsibility to help them acquire education and ensure that they have opportunities to reach their dreams. The school is run by the villagers, and it receives no other support or external funding. Reconstructing the building is a huge financial task for the school or the parents of the kids. Families of these children have serious financial challenges and they cannot foot the bill for school fees. We have to do everything in our power to ensure that this building is reconstructed, and its environment is conducive to achieving the goal of educating these kids. Education is a Universal Human Right and one core pillar of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. It is our responsibility to stand up for the rights of others in pursuit of building societies that thrive on all human efforts.
