Having a dog has been a dream of mine for as long as I could remember, especially being on my own for so long. I always resisted because I didn’t think it would be fair leaving her home while I was at work, but talking to rescues made me realize I would provide such a loving home for her while taking her on as many adventures as I possibly could. I’m truly happy with her, but I did not anticipate her need for constant activity throughout the day while I’m at work.

I’m hoping to raise money to help pay for dog walkers and doggy daycare to help her thrive physically, mentally, and socially while I’m away. I wish I lived closer to work to come home for lunch or had family or friends that live near me to help, but unfortunately I don’t—it’s just me. I feel guilty and embarrassed for having to post this, but I would be truly grateful for anything you are able to give, even if it’s just well wishes.
