Renis Bandula is only 25 years old and is fighting a severe heart condition called dilated cardiomyopathy, which causes his heart to weaken and struggle to pump blood properly.

Renis has already been through so much in life. As a baby, he underwent major surgery to remove one of his kidneys and endured chemotherapy. Despite everything, he grew up strong, hardworking, and full of dreams. He worked as a chef, a profession he loved, but his illness has forced him to stop, taking away his independence and the future he was building.

Despite maximum medical therapy, his heart function remains critically reduced, and he is at constant risk of life-threatening heart rhythm disorders. Doctors have confirmed that he urgently needs specialized treatment abroad, including advanced heart failure therapy and the possible implantation of a cardiac device such as an ICD or CRT-D, depending on further medical evaluation.

The costs for treatment, hospitalization, medical tests, and travel are far beyond what our family can afford. Every day of delay puts Renis’s life at serious risk.
