My husband Hector has always been a pillar of support for those around him. Recently, he was accepted to attend a week-long workshop at the Texas School for the Deaf, where he can renew his sign language interpreter certification. This is a wonderful opportunity for Hector to continue his work, but unfortunately, we don’t have the means or resources to help get him there on our own.

The funds raised will go directly toward Hector’s professional development, covering the costs of room and board, meals, and transportation for the duration of the workshop. This support will allow him to focus on his training and return to the community with renewed skills and energy to help others.

Hector has dedicated most of his life to advocating for and supporting those in need. Even while facing his own health challenges, including cancer and chemotherapy treatments, he has continued to give back whenever and however he can. I’m reaching out now to ask for your help so that Hector can keep doing what he loves—helping others and making a difference in our community.
