On Tuesday, July 2 Renee went to the University of Minnesota hospital to receive a new type of chemo to try and help with her liver cancer. Unfortunately, that round of chemo did not go well and she experienced many side effects which put her in the ICU. Upon her time there and the testing that was done the doctor determined that she is in liver failure. As of July 6 Renee has been put on hospice, and at this time will remain in the hospital. Her family and her wishes are that she remains comfortable and surrounded by those that love her.

Kevin has been visiting her daily and staying with her for most of the day. He has been taking time off work since the day of treatment. He also has been driving to and from the hospital and having to purchase meals throughout the day. He has a lot going on and has a lot still to do. We are trying to relieve part of the financial burden of having to travel, pay for meals, plan an upcoming funeral, and taking all this time off work. If you choose to donate and help our dad it will go towards allowing him to continue taking time off work and plan for the funeral and burial.
