Help Renee recover from COVID-19

As most of you know, our beloved Mother, Daughter, Aunt, Niece, Sister and Friend & Colleague, Renee Betzendorfer, was hospitalized this past week due to severe symptoms associated with pneumonia and COVID-19. Renee is a selfless and amazing individual & nurse, who is constantly providing for others and now there is an opportunity to support Renee in her recovery. 

Renee was hospitalized on Friday, May 14th and put on oxygen to assist with her breathing.  She has been struggling with a high fever, bi-lateral pneumonia and a severe cough and fatigue.  We are hopeful that her recovery is on an upward trend and are anticipating her release this week. She has been receiving excellent care at the hospital and knows how many people are thinking of her and sending best wishes her way.

However, Renee will need a reclining chair to assist with her breathing and allow her to be comfortable when she gets home.  The chair will allow her to recline and sit up when needed and provide a much needed place for her to rest and recover.  Due to her weakness, she will need an electric reclining chair to assist her in transitioning positions when needed. We are hoping to purchase the chair this week and have it set up prior to her release from the hospital.

We know so many people have reached out to ask how they can help. If you feel inclined and are able, this is a perfect opportunity to show Renee how much we love her and provide her the support she so needs at this time.
