Renee is a fixture in Palm Beach County, spending years fundraising for every good cause… She's always been there for all of us. Today she needs your help. A dangerous auto-immune flareup has left her bedridden without the ability to work or tend to her own daily needs. Months of disability have entirely drained her savings. Please help her receive the round the clock care she needs.

As you probably know, before she fell ill this last time she tirelessly was raising funds ( *AND* using her own funds and funds from our business) to support every good cause she could turn her attention to (Palm Beach County Schools , Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Pediatric Oncology Support Team, Stand Up For Kids, Anti-Bullying, The Walk for Unity, Veteran Suicide Prevention, Toys For Tots, Hurricane Relief Funds, the list goes on and on...). She's always been there for all of us and now she urgently needs your help.

You also probably already know that she is a stage 4 cancer survivor. She did a very difficult chemotherapy treatment that successfully put her non-Hodgkins lymphoma in remission for the last 10 years, but that victory came with a cost.

Most likely originating from the harsh chemotherapy treatment, Renee has since battled two different autoimmune disorders

Recently for the past several months, a severe flare-up has left her in severe pain, extreme fatigue, completely bed-ridden or barely able to move without help—making independent living impossible.

This has forced her to stop working completely, wiping out her income and exhausting every last dollar of her savings.

She now lives with me and requires 24/7 in-home care. I left my job back in September to provide that care. I cook, clean, do laundry, manage medications and all daily needs. I also provide all transportation to her doctors and specialists. In doing so I've also exhausted my savings, but due to her condition I cannot yet return to work

Your support will cover the costs of continuing to seek medical treatment, our very humble living circumstances, and her round-the-clock care during the duration of this flare. We are so hopeful that she will eventually heal and become independent enough that I might return to work. When the fundraiser is successful, we plan to hire a Certified Home Health Aide and I will immediately return to work.
