Due to some unfortunate circumstances, i am reaching out to everyone from the community for some help !
I was working with the Cvusd school district last school semester before summer break started on JUNE .
Since JUNE , since summer break started , i have been unemployed and just trying my best to do side jobs to make ends meet for bills until the school year starts again . I was managing pretty decently up until THIS MONTH (August). I would usually take up physical labor jobs like landscaping to make money , but unfortunately I’ve injured my back so right now I can’t lift anything heavy or bend down all the way either . And I was relying on uber eats and instacart as well , but now traffic flow has been extremely low . On some days I work 5-6 hours and only come out with 25 dollars in deliveries .
As some of you may know , I am currently living with my Mom , and she is on disability, while also trying to do side jobs to manage the bills , we also have a renter that pays us monthly , so that helps with the bills too, but I feel very very guilty for feeling like I’m putting all the responsibilities on her, and I want to really help her out with my part so we’re both not under a lot of stress . i am asking for 2000$ , and that would be 1000$ for the month of AUGUST to cover the bills I need to pay , some gas , and some groceries. And the other 1000$ is for SEPTEMBER to cover the bills for that month as well. Fortunately the school year is starting so I will have work soon , BUT I will NOT be getting my first check until NOVEMBER since the school district pays monthly. And I’m also on a classified substitute at the moment , meaning I have to pick up jobs and I’m not a permanent worker at a school yet . Meaning I’m not sure how big my check will be when payday comes . (Unless I am fortunate enough to pick up a long term spot.) It would really mean a lot . I’m trying my best not to feel guilty or ashamed or like if I’m losing dignity for this . I know there’s other people going through their own struggles .
