My name is Renaud, and I am reaching out for help during one of the most challenging times in my life. I have four metal screws in my right hip, suffered a heart stroke, and had a device placed in my heart to help regulate my blood pressure. On December 4, 2023, my world changed forever when my son, who was only 24, died by suicide. Shortly after, I needed surgery on both sides of my left leg, which has left me unable to work and in the hospital at DeRidder Retirement and Rehabilitation office in DeRidder Parish. I am away from my home in Marrero until I can walk again.

The medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and everyday living expenses are overwhelming, especially since I can't work right now. I am doing my best to stay strong and focus on recovery, but I need help to get through this difficult time.
