My mama, Renae Moore, is my only remaining immediate family member. She has always been my rock, and now she needs help more than ever. Two years ago, she was diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. Since then, her health has declined, and she now needs a liver transplant to survive. The disease has caused fluid to build up around her lungs, making it hard for her to breathe. In just the past six weeks, she has had to undergo two thoracentesis procedures to remove the fluid. Watching her struggle has been heartbreaking, especially since I lost my daddy in 2010 and my only brother in 2020. What began as a family of four is now just my mama and me. I have been battling multiple sclerosis for 21 years, which makes it hard for me to help her the way a daughter should.

The costs of a transplant are overwhelming. The money raised here will go directly toward my mama’s medical bills, recovery costs, and the travel expenses we face getting to Atlanta for her treatment.
