Help Rena Rebuild After Hurricane Helene's Devastation
Donation protected
Hello friends, it's ileene from New Jersey,
My dear friend Rena, who I've known since childhood, has always been one of the most selfless and caring people I know. Today, she and her family are facing an unimaginable challenge, one that no one should ever have to endure. When Hurricane Helene tore through Florida, Rena’s home of 25 years was overwhelmed by 3-4 feet of sea and sewage water, leaving it in ruins. The walls had to be stripped down to the studs, and every belonging was lost.
Rena had to hire professionals to help with the massive task of clearing out the damage, removing ruined furniture, appliances, and moldy walls. While the demolition process has started, the work is far from complete. Her house is still full of mold, wet furniture, and hazardous waste that has been sitting in sewer water for over a week.
Rena is the last person to ask for help, even in the face of such immense loss. She would never feel comfortable starting a go-fund-me like this herself, but those of us who know and love her know how much she deserves it. Rena has always been the first to lend a hand to others, and now it's our turn to rally around her.
In this moment of overwhelming loss, her strength and grace shine through, and she continues to trust in the divine, letting go of what she can't control. But she can't do this alone.
We’re hoping to raise $10,000 to help Rena take the first steps towards rebuilding her life and her home. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring her closer to recovery.
Please join me in supporting Rena during this difficult time. Together, we can help her reclaim her life after this devastating storm.
Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness.
