Hello all, Ren here, a 29 year old trans man that will be having top surgery to have my breasts removed November 23rd.
The good news is the surgery is covered by insurance! So no worries there. No matter what happens, the teets will be yeeted.
The still good news but also challenging is that I am 100% self employed as a freelance artist, and thusly dont have any sick time or many savings to hold me over during my recovery time. I'll be out of work anywhere from 2 weeks to a month.
I also need some funds to cover the hotel and gas for my caregivers the night of the surgery. All told, I estimate about 1k needed to have my bills for the month paid and my generous caregivers taken care of as well.
Everything and anything helps. In less than a month I'll be taking a huge step towards being my ideal me. Thank you to everyone that helps this transition go smoothly!
