My name is Soma. I’m a trans woman living with significant mental health challenges, and I’m currently facing potential homelessness after a sudden and devastating breakup.

A few weeks ago, my ex ended his relationship without any discussion or warning. As well as being very abusive, he broke up with me and my other partners, making us homeless, with no warning. We rented a place together and things seemed to be going ok, but my partners who had to leave with me broke up with me again out of nowhere, no talks, and dumped my stuff on the side of the road.

I now have a safe place to go—living with a supportive good friend—but I need help with gas money to make the trip out of California and reach stability. Any contribution, no matter how small, will directly help me get on the road to safety and a fresh start.
